MEET MAEGAN Ayukonchong

**Owner | PRINCIPAL Designer**
Maegan Ayukonchong is the Founder and Principal Designer of M. Swabb Interior Design Collective, a San Diego–based design studio specializing in elevated, lifestyle-driven interiors. With over 15 years of experience in the design industry, Maegan brings both seasoned expertise and creative vision to every project she leads.
Rooted in a deep appreciation for thoughtful architecture, refined materials, and purposeful living, her approach is both strategic and intuitive. She believes that successful design goes beyond aesthetics — it requires clarity of process, disciplined execution, and a genuine understanding of how a client lives day to day. Her work is grounded in collaboration, guiding clients through full-scale renovations and new builds with confidence and care.
Maegan’s signature style blends warmth with sophistication, layering organic textures, architectural detail, and curated finishes to create homes that feel timeless yet deeply personal. Each space is designed not only to look beautiful, but to function effortlessly and support the rhythms of everyday life.
She believes great design has the power to elevate daily living — bringing clarity, comfort, and inspiration to the spaces where life unfolds most.

Meet Cassidy Matthie

**LEAD Interior Coordinator**
Cassidy brings a unique combination of skills and experience to her role, which is focused on facilitating design projects from start to finish.
After earning her degree in Communications, Cassidy discovered her passion for interior design and decided to make the leap into the industry. She has been apart of the M. Swabb team for over 4 years.
As our Lead Design Coordinator, Cassidy plays a critical role in ensuring that each project runs smoothly and efficiently. She works closely with our designers, project managers, contractors, and clients to coordinate every aspect of the design process, from concept development to project completion.
Cassidy's keen eye for detail and exceptional organizational skills help keep projects on track, ensuring that every deadline is met and every detail is attended to. She is an excellent communicator and collaborator, working closely with all members of the team to ensure that every project is a success.

Meet Maddie Thomas

**Design | Coordination and culture**
Maddie Thomas brings a thoughtful, human-centered perspective to her role at M. Swabb Interior Design Collective. With an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a certification in Interior Design from UCLA, she approaches each project with an understanding that great design is not just visual — it’s emotional, behavioral, and deeply personal.
Maddie supports both the team and our clients across many facets of the design process, from internal coordination and project logistics to hands-on creative support. Her multidisciplinary background allows her to move fluidly between organizational structure and design expression, ensuring projects remain both intentional and aligned from concept through implementation.
Beyond her project work, Maddie plays an important role in shaping our studio culture. She brings fresh perspective, creative energy, and a pulse on evolving trends, helping our work stay relevant while ensuring the spirit behind what we do always shines through.

Meet Anastasia Mulkeeva

**SENIOR Interior Designer**
Anastasia graduated with a Master's Degree in Interior Design from a renowned university in Siberia, where she honed her skills in designing spaces that not only look stunning but also function seamlessly. After completing her degree, Ana worked on several luxury residential and hospitality projects in Thailand, where she gained seven years of valuable experience in creating high-end spaces that elevate the guest experience.
With her knowledge of design principles and materials, Ana approaches each project with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional results. She works closely with clients to understand their unique needs and preferences, ensuring that every space she designs reflects their individual styles and personalities.
As a member of our team, Anastasia has brought her unique perspective and creative vision to a variety of projects, from contemporary homes to boutique hotels. Her expertise in creating luxurious yet functional spaces has helped us elevate our clients' interiors to the next level.
Ana is also a natural artist and often hand-paints commissioned pieces for our clients and projects. She is truly gifted in all forms of creative expression while still having a keen eye for detail.

Meet Alexa Hicok

**SENIOR Interior Designer**
Alexa is a Senior Interior Designer at M. Swabb Interior Design Collective and has been an integral part of the team for over four years. A graduate of San Diego State University with a degree in Interior Design, Alexa combines a strong technical foundation with a refined design sensibility developed through years of hands-on project experience.
Over the course of her time with the firm, Alexa has played a key role in leading space planning, developing 2D and 3D drawings, refining material selections, and supporting projects from concept through implementation. Her expertise in layout development, color theory, and architectural detailing allows her to thoughtfully translate vision into reality.
Alexa brings both precision and creativity to every project. With a deeply client-focused mindset and a sharp eye for detail, she ensures each design feels intentional, functional, and uniquely tailored to the families we serve.
